cold air feeds make little or no difference, may as well not have one an have less weight

Just point it towards the filter - unless you have a hole in the centre of the filter - like a BMC type?
When mine had one I cable tied the end of the pipe to the front bumper so it gets plenty of cold air.
I saw someone on here had 4 cold air feeds

I tried B&Q for some flexy aluminium piping i was going to jubilee clip over the filter and then zip tie to the front bumper however it would not be wide enough to get it over the filter

in that case dont put it over the filter, just put it facing the filter, at least then it gets some of the cold air

Sounds like a plan, i once considered just cutting a vent out of the bonnet ( this was pre-fixing of the dents in the bonnet) to direct air straight to it,
This could well end up as one of those ideas that never happens lol

Expensive mistake to make .....
you would get more benefit from cutting bits out of the rear bonnet seal to let heat out than trying to get cold air from fast moving air into a pipe and upto the filter

@ Dave I would have happily chopped up my old bonnet but iv just spent 350 pounds getting a new one ( and wing )
When im feeling rich i think ill try the cold air feed even if it doesnt make a difference i can always take it off again

not cut bonnet, cut rubber seal at the back on engine bay bonnet sits on

they easy to get hold off? just incase i should ever want to see it i want to keep everything i do to it reversible

Im thinking the same thing lol
bigger boys have done it on their cars. cento seals there will be lots in members sheds if it goes wrong, or go scrappy an get one to play with, be lots cheaper than b&q ducting
