it better be worth it !

labelling them or ease of checking wire colour

while all the stuff under the car is going to be off might as-well so the brake line as they are a bit scabby

gonna see if fiat will do the tank but i a dont think hey will as the car cant be driven there

got the engine and gearbox out today, had a crap time trying to split the box and engine as it just wouldn't come, had a go at hitting the lower gearbox mount to get that daft locator out and i hit it too hard , cracked teh gearbox case so only good for scrap

but engine is all good

damage to where the bumper bolts on


some surface rust where the battery was, on the side on hte tray is what i scratched off



the worst thing here, that the chassis rail, only the bottom has rotted out and i was poking it for a while, sides are perfect so il have to plate that over

took 4 hours in this heat to do it all by myself

made up the all the front brake lines, just got to flare them today and going items a clean

started to get the wiring sorted out the information that is spent a few hours on this picture to have all the information in one place so hopefully it will be useful to other people aswell

you in need of a new gearbox then? dont know how cheap you can get them but there is one in carlisle for you for free if you want it?? i now have three for some strange reason lmfao

nah thanks, it was the 899 gearbox i broke, ive got a cinq sporting and a bravo gearbox

done the brava wiring diagram below

il have to combine the cinq and brava loom together and graft it all onto a punto mk1 ECu connector sounds simple doesn't it

took me 5 times to get this done right as due to errors lost it all



all uploaded to forums so there here forever

Yeah am pretty sure that is the D4 connector, but i have the sporting loom in front of me ... can;t seem to find the colour of wires as stated in the diargram ...

For example on 5, to M12 it is Gn Sw - Green black, this goes t to the fuel pump... (not sure if i got it right or not)

your right im just going through the info now and there is two parts of info for this, it should be stated as the relay module

il have the pictures up in a sec

unfortunately there isnt any more info on the D4 connector on a punto sporting mk1 i was only able to get the ecu pin-out which is already up in this thread

it seems to be he same for the sporting D4 as-well if you get the make note of the colour to pin you can check the info against the sporting wiring diagram to get what they do
