re: slow build 16v cinq

wow that is some funky welding:p

theres no chance im working outside in this weather

the underside is alot better was combination of needed setting up and some corrosion on the wire so got rod of the bad wire and was pretty good after, just had to do like that as it would blow holes in the rather thin metal

re: slow build 16v cinq

pictures came out worse then i thought as it was starting to get dark so il get some better one tomorrow

i chucked the front end together the only thing that stopped me getting the front lower was the jacks that where holing the car up :p

re: slow build 16v cinq

Axel stand By the looks of it :D.

That low is a tad silly , and impossible without removing the rear bump and replacing with a smaller alternative on the standard rear beam anyway.

Is it a coilover?

Thanks

re: slow build 16v cinq

I'm hoping to get a spring sleeve sorted but it's just a PITA at the moment as I need to get to london to sort it. Otherwise we could have a back end that drops that low (or close too) :D.

Thanks

there's pretty much no room either side of the steelie on the rear i would get 1 finger in the inside and nothing on the outside so i dont think alloys would be a quick fit as arch modifications would be needed

re: slow build 16v cinq

front needs lower

the steelie on the other side is under the arch and thats as far as it can go on the shocks, even got the wishbone nuts on part way to give it a bit more free room

il put it all back together tomorrow and get on with some real work :p

just wondering the nuts that are welded onto the swing arms do they really have to be welded on ? as im going to change them over to a standard pitch bolt

re: slow build 16v cinq

Thats sitting on 14" powertechs, and it's stupidly low. It's anti roll bar is lower than my strut brace .

Thanks

wouldn't be able to go down half the roads here :p

14" 5.5J steelie:slayer: should fill the arches nicely shame ive been told there isnt and 6J

might place the lower strut brace i have agaisnt the car to see if it touches the floor
