im a tight arse and there's no punto in the scrappy at the moment

as this engine was out of a brava rather then a punto im having to swap sensor over its all the same except the coolant temp sensor map sensor and the hole for the map

thinking about it il have to see if the punto and brava injector wiring is the same as i didnt take that when i took the loom :S


also been looking for piston rings and shells for the next part after its done but no luck and fiat would want an arm and a leg

well had a look at the wiring for the injectors, and yep there different but couldn't get any info up on the injectors so i don't know if they are different

so that's something else i will have to get

well managed to get the rear beam welded up:slayer:

and don't think il be using an ark welder any-time soon again as its a right PITA and took alot longer then expected so should have that painted up in a few days so i can move the car again:slayer:

Hey, could has anyone got some pictures of the punto sporting injectors and loom, i know the brava loom is bosch with a 4 pin on blue injectors, but im unsure on the punto ?

well putted my finger out over the last few days, got the rear of the car under sealed thee are a few more touch ups needed along with the rear beam






battery tray was chopped off


servo tarted up


fuel tank had some rust on it but couldn't complain at the price cheers fingers:slayer: painted along with engine brackets


engine is sad in the corner

bit of rust to treat and paint on the arch


this is how it ended up today bunged on the old stuff so i can move the car around to do the front, next time im going to strip the beam when its off the car as its a PITA to do on the car

:O tidy cinq with no holes in the arches . Looks like good work that.

With the rear suspension, just losen the 4 bolts that hold the beam a few notch it will drop down a bit which allow much better access for the top shock bolts .

I done the exact samething with ma cinq today, under seal the ****er ...bar the rear arches, as that needs welding!

that's what i ended up doing was a rear PITA as my "spares" are pretty new powerflex bushes and they didn't want to go in, when i went to jack the rear arm up to squash the spring it was just moving the car as there wasn't any weight in it

front chassis rail to cross memeber and jacking points are the worst on this but nothing too bad when i get the car turned around i can weld them up

well i did answer this to ming but just to clear up this is just temporary on the rear except the beam, for when i put the other bushes into the other swing arms i have along with the rear disk's and suspension

its just so i can weld up and seal up the front

makes on hell of a change looking at a empty rear end

done some stuff to the car recently but not alot due to the weather good excuse aye

done the rear arches of rust paint isn't the best of match more purple in it, even less sound proofing inside just have to clean up then ready for hammerite


re-paired section on the bulkhead, no pretty but it will do


gave the new wishbones a new lick of paint to help keep them clean


front to rear brake pipes made up

lower brace might have to be done away with as it will be too low on a 70/50 drop

came out crap but hammerite on steel wheels look awesome il have to do it to the 14" when i find a set

neee worries mate oh yeah and forgot to tell you when i had that lower brace on i took a rabbits head clean off lol they think they can lye down between the wheels like most cars but then at the last min realise that there is a bar 3 inch off the deck and there done for, what was the last thing it saw............... an OMP sticker lmao

wow hadn't realised you had completely stripped the car back to a bare shell lol good skills lol

i had a lower brace and it was way too clost. almost impossible to drive with the 70;50 drop. todger you have one? if so how the hell can you drive? my arb kills enough animals and my splitter is 1 1/2 inch off the floor the lower brace sat lower than that. lol

MY brace is stupidly low, any camber in the road and I start worrying .

I can get off my drive but scrape my splitter everytime so worked out that if turn off the drive at an angle, then i'm fine.

I avoid animals unless they are already dead . Pirus will tell you about my experiences, he got the receiving end on a couple of occasions :devil:.

lol i avoid as much as i cna but sometimes expecially out here in cumbria they just had enough. lol.

and i could feel mine tap the floor a few times lol. and as my sump is scratched and arb taking a battering god knows how you do it lol. 15" wheels mabee?
