hi i am wondering what upgrades i can do to my 1108 sporting and was wondering if any one has put one on throttle bodies or supercharged instaed of turbo upgrades

i am considering a small custom supercharger upgrade but was wondering if anyone has tried this and what gains and what problems i may come across

thanks for the link i take it no one has ervery supercharged an 1108 before istead of the popular turbo route hhmmmmmmm will have to do this by trial an error i guess

the guy i got my wide arch kit off said he had his running nitrous and a supercharger

Who needs turbos, superchargers or throttle bodies?

lol i have seen the vids but yours is only for auto testing i am thinking more of 1/4 mile strip and run what you brung i am fully aware it will never be anything special but i would like to get it into tha 16sec 1/4's

stick an engine in the back then if its just for drag racing

lol i have been thinking of that but i'd like to keep it road friendly

saying that i have seen a cinq with an alfa V6 and rear drive not sure if it was road legal as it was still being built

my main prob is i like to do things that no-one has done before which is why i got rid of the uno turbo and replaced it with a mk1 punto 55s with the intension of supercharging that but life comitments stopped me but now this one will go ahead be it supercharged or turbo

stick a wankel engine in then, dont think anybodys done that before

how about an f16 jet engine,

Your only realistic chance of supercharging it is with a rotrex, good luck getting one for undervalued grand. there is a reason people go turbo

The new Eaton TVS might fit as they are meant to be tiny but they are still very new so you won't find one second hand so it will probably be as expensive as a rotrex

If you want to do something different how about front engined and rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive

ok well thanks for all the advice i will keep you posted on what i am going to do first thing first thou is to sort out the rattling ekhaust

I suspect you could use a supercharger from a MkI MINI Cooper. (ie. the first of the BMW MINIs).

They seem to be a popular choice for 'charging smaller engines.

Not entirely sure where you'd put it in the engine bay, though!

well in honesty that was the idea i had as a friend used a new mini one on a mk2 golf 1.6 and was suprised at the power gain he got and i am thinkig of 6r4 ing the bonnet to accom the charger but its weather or not it will look ok with out a wide arch kit

hmmmmmmm the mind boggles a 6r4 styled cinq hmmmmmmm with a 1108 supercharged engine hmmmmmmm but how would i go about stepping the wheels out to line up with the wide kit

Lower or positive offset wheels with widetrack lower arms or mounts.
