Anybody tell me what it is ?

When I said it doesn't fit, I meant it can't fit, as it's too large to get into the recess in the alloys that accommodates the wheel nuts.

Besides, there's another little plastic gizmo that I used to shift the wheel nut covers.

Could it be for removing spark-plugs/coils ?

Nope not for removing spar plug. So is probably not for your car. Is it causing you problem ?

No, its for removing wheel nut covers, end of.

Its obviously been put in the wrong car, or the wheels have been changed.

It's Sunday and I'm bored.

Need to find something to do with it.

Any suggestions ?.....

just to throw another use for it into the pot, it looks like the too you use to remove the bolts that hold the rear lights on a mk1 punto, my mum had one and I've changed many a bulb with it.
its probably the tool kit from another car.

If it's too big to fit in the wheel nut recess of an alloy wheel then the outside diameter of it must be something like 25-30mm.

How big are the bolts that hold the rear lights on a Mk1 Punto ?

hi all

Hate to add another opinion - but

These are for starting the wheel nuts off - finger tight - when used with the original cinq sporting wheels - i use it all the time.

Its there because the recess in the wheel is too deep to use your fingers to start the bolt off.

You cant imagine someone with high heals changing a cinq sporting wheel with the wheel brace in one hand and positioning the wheel with the other - but this would help!

I dont think the cinq really came with wheel bolt covers did it??

It wouldnt fit another alloy wheel if the holes were too small - which is what i have just found with this and the wheel brace on my new wheels.

It is from a Punto tool kit and it is used for removing the tail light clusters which just happen to have a bolt head the same size as the wheel bolts

Ok - but they are in all cinqs - for the wheel bolts. I presume they were put in puntos to do both lights and bolts?

What a thread - about a boring little bit of plastic :D

found these on eBay...

If I bought these would I be able to use it for the wheel nuts ?

.... or even the wheel nut covers ?
