Is the 998 engine a *over head cam* or *over head valve* engine
if anyone new it would be much help as the cars about 15 mins away and its far to cold to go and check. hopefully some of you guys will know.

OHV engine (pushrod) is 899. There was/is a 999 OHC engine, see [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fully_Integrated_Robotised_Engine]here[/ame] but be wary of typos.

For reasons unknown to me that didn't work -- try Wikipedia FIRE FIAT engines in Google.

The 999 fire was never fitted as standard to a Cento though.
Obviously someone could fit one, quite easily, I would have thought.

I wondered about putting a 16V head on an 1108 at one point.
