Hi Guys,

I want to drop my seicento on 14" rims.. standard abarth alloys...

I have seen some pics of some 40mm drops but it doesnt look like its enough..

How much lower could i go before i would cause rubbing on the tyres... 50mm.. 60mm?

Any advice greatly appreciated... pics even better...i saw some springs for 55mm any good or too low..

im doin the same ...but ive just got my springs 2day 60mm tbh ill find out the hard way =D fingers crossed thay wont rub..

Topic is nearly 4 years old but any lower than 40mm on 14'' you will get rubbing in reality

What springs?

Spax 60/40's are very disappointing in terms of drop IME

185/55RR14 to big? try 205/40R16 with an 85mm drop  :D

On a serious side note, 185/55R14 is going to be nasty for gearing unless you've got serious power and then the side wall will wander all over the place killing the handling. If you really want to do a big drop with 14" wheels then 195/40R14 is where it's at, the same static diameter as the stock non-abarth sporting tyres, you really need J6.5 rims though.

ohhhh another coventry person :D

Have a search on the forum and look for some pics, i believe a lot of people have done it but needed a low profile tyre (y)
and now im terrorising the roads in my cinq :D
would be nice meetin up with sum 1 that has a fiat ... lol all the ppl where i hang out take the **** out of my lil yellow Seic .
