I have an Cinquecento with an Novitec Trubo on it.
there extra fuel is provided through an extra ECU (Novitec Tectronic) that triggers an extra injector.
This ECU has an defect and can't be repaird. These things are impossible to find so I need to look for a solution.

Also my engine needs adjustment to run on turbo pressure.
This can be done by an company I know who will do the following things to it:

Bore out the cilinders.
Place bigger pistons that lower the compression.
They will change the cilinder head as well.

This will cost around 1500 euro's.

After reading alot on this forum I think there is a cheaper way. And most importent I can do it myself.

I found out:

1.2L Fire block.
Piston rods from an 16V engine to lower the compression.

Are there more things that have to be done to make sure the engine can handle 0.8 bar of boost.

And how i'm going to get it running.
The normal ECU and injector can't deliver the fuel so I need another system.
I see alot of user here use the Megasquirt system.
How hard is it to do this?
Are there topics/websites that explain it in detail?

Thee's a big megasquirt thread and lots of megasquirt forums.

Just about any aftermarket ECU will do.

But you need to convert to MPI (4 injectors rather than 1 and a helper).

An alternative to the Novitek Techtronic is the Aquamist MF2 (used by many of the UK turbo Cinqs): still in production.

MPI is likely to be safer, more economical, easier to set up accurately.

Oil cooler, intercooler, that's about it. Depending on the turbo (the smaller ones produce a big torque spike which makes even uprated standard size ones -- which would normally cope fine with 120bhp -- slip) you use you may need a new clutch and flywheel (1.4 16v Stilo).

The 1242 engine should cope with around 140bhp. I've a hunch that the 1108 will handle a little more.
