hi to all.

i know this is my first thread but i just found the site after having a problem with my seciento 1.1 Sporting.

the problem is that at low revs my car seems to have like an electronic miss / fuel problem.

i have been told this could be plugs / leads. so i replaced plugs leads and coil packs.

the problem still seems to be there.
there is no engine management lights on the car so i really dont know what it could be.

does anyone have an idea? if so your advice is appreciated.

oh. i also cleaned the throttle body.. still puzzled.

Hi,

I have got a similar problem on my seicento, tried fitting loads of parts now; MAP sensor, ht leads, plugs, fuel pump, lambda sensor, ECT sensor, throttle body, injector.

My Seicento is a Single point injection W reg so is 2000?

Sounds like your car has same symptons as mine. Start it up and it runs although starts running rough at idle. Drives ok but feels like its holding back when cruising. Feels like a fuel problem to me and wondered if the ECU is at fault and not sending injector the correct pulses.

Cheers,

Oli

SPi ECUs are pretty basic and generally very reliable.

If the management light is not coming on then the first possible cause is the O2 (lambda) sensor.

However, make sure the service history is fully up to date.

There is no point just replacing parts, measure first, refer to the stats, then go from there.

Cheers
