all round suspension bushes and arms and rear shocks
new front pads and discs
new rear brake cylinders
2x new h/light
both front cv joints (will be taking shafts out completely to help with outer boot fitment as i need to drop the g/box oil anyway)
h/brake cable
ARB bushes

is there anything i should know/take into consideration about any of the above. as some of you know i am a time served spanner monkey but HGV is my area not cars. im particularly interested in techniques removing and refitting front and rear suspension arms.

thanks in advance guys and girls

Dont replace the rear arms push out the bushes and push in new ones, if you have access to hyd press easier, possible with engineering vice. You do need to remove them of course.

Hiys mate, I have recently done a largish resto on a 2001 (!)
siecento, and thought i would throw in my lot for the Handbrake
Job ~ the arms that it connects onto are like a right angle elbow on a basic~pivot... They may be siezed and look like needing replaced..
Don't be decieved, they are not cheap to buy new, but with a file,
some oil, and 20 mins of patience they will be as serviceable as new...
Even if they aint too bad, deffo get 'em out and make sure they work
Freely...

Since you too are mechanically practiced i shan't bore you with stuff about SAFETY and wirebrushing n WD40 the day Before !
