i've used the search and found some answers, the problem i've got
is after running car(cinq sport 97) for even ten minutes switch it of for 5-10mins then try to restart and it won't, turns over, doe'snt try to fire. if you leave it it might start 10mins later, had to leave it for nearly an hr today!!!
could it be crank sensor? strange thing is theres no smell of petrol.

any help or pointers please!!!

when you say doesnt try to fire, you saying there is no spark happening? If so, yeah it's the crank sensor.

If there is no spark, then crank sensor is a pretty good starting point.

If spark, then temp sensor would be the next thought.
