bloody hell!

Sack it off, strip parts of it and send it to car heaven

lol wish i could afford to do that and buy another car... but i cant lol, its actually getting welded by my dads mate, he hasnt seen it yet, but im not sure if it can be done :(

Personally i would strip it and get another car.. Once a car has tin worm, it will be hard to get rid of it...

A good cinq shouldnt be too expensive, and would be cheaper in the long run to get another one than keep on with the one you have...

Get it Welded . . . . . . .

Mate it will Weld okay, altho I cannot see from your pictures very well at all, as someone who has welded a fair amount of cars for Mot's, I can tell you that anything can be repaired if you have the Welder/Time/Know~how OR someone daft enough to do it Cheap....
Welding is my least favourite Pastime in the Universe....
My RS2000 has so much Welding, it is like a patchwork Quilt...

yea i would like to get another car.. but i cant afford it atm so i got to stick with this one for the minute:cry: i cant believe i didnt look at it properly before buying it for £550! i feel ripped off, although it did come with a 12 month MOT and only 8 months left, it hasnt seen the road since the MOT cuz i havent passed my test yet :( also another thing i drove it earlier and when i break normally the rear wheels lock up.. any ideas?

thank you for the quick replies everyone very appreciated :)

Strip and clean the brakes first, before you look at compensator valve.
May find the front pads have got stuck with standing or the hand brake levers may be sticking

i'll be honest, as much as i hate to see a cinq killed, for me, the time and effort required to get that to a good standard would be better spent on another car, and taking good bits off that for spares :(

lol well i have been definetly ripped off, and when i can afford it i will buy another car.. it looked good when i bought it cuz the side skirts and wheel arch kit covered the rust, the garage i bought it off (leedstown garage cornwall) are shockingly crap, before i bought it i asked them to repair a rust hole under the light, and i meant i wanted them to repair it properly not fill it with fibreglass! thank you everyone for the quick and helpful replies :)

how much would you think i could get for it? cuz im going to sell it when its welded up and tidy, it has 8 months mot left, new fondmetal 13" alloy wheels

Indeed, you should have checked it, but if you have bought it from a reputable garage with an MOT, and you haven't used it, they wouldn't stand a chance in hell in a civil claims court. Get in touch with trading standards, and a solicitor.

Your rear tyre looks bearly legal as well.

man i didnt know it was that bad, and i was thinking about that and seeing if i could get my money back... but what would happen if i went to the trading standards? would it mean i could get my money back?

maybe garage were unaware of the severity?

for example second pic of car on its own by OP shows the car with skirts and arches, whereas the skirts and arches from an abarth/replica kit look like they have been removed for the first set of pictures posted by OP

Previous owner fitted skirts to cover up the sever areas? Then flogged it?

No excuse for the rust on the inside though

its the same car??????? so sideskirts and arch covers arent good idea  its pretty rusting behind them

its too much, sell wheels and scrap it, you can get nice sporting for few hundreds
