General Refurb Alloys

ive got the standard fiat cinquecento sporting alloys which are badly marked an kerbed by thre prevous owner, i want sum more alloys prefebly the standard seicento oens but carnt afford brand new and will have to settle foe 2nd hand ones which are hard t find. im wanting to kno if i can rid of teh black marks on the insides of my alloys. a mate reckons wire wool could help but wanted advice first (wont it mark them). i just want t make them look better until i can get hold of sum new ones

well how much we talking for a refurb of 4 wheel rims?

aparently its works. you get some gell stuff that goes in the dents that sets hard and 4 tins of wheel paint and 4 tins of laquer,

Nicholas Lane did his wheels with the kit from halfords. He told me he needed 2 kits per wheel and they are either £25 or £30 each.

Much cheaper for a pro to do it IMO, there was a post a few days ago about someone doing refurbs.

i know a place but its down here no good if you live in bradford
the thread i read about the kits the person only did 1 wheel and had loads left he was selling the rest of the kit,

If you take the wheels to any good paint shp they shoudl be able to refurb them for you it costs around 20-30 a wheel with paint etc i had mine done and never looked back
