Further to my earlier post regarding cooling problems and poor idling after 1.2 mpi engine swop, in the fusebox of my 51reg Abarth what is the function (as in what circuits do they control) and order of the relays situated to the right of the actual fuses and especially, which one is the one controlling the cooling fan as I need to test it. Thanks

As far as I know (may be wrong) there is no fan relay.

you are wrong ;) in an MPI the fan is switched by the ECU via a relay.

There is a 30A fuse in the maxi fuse box near the battery. There is relay present with the other relays (can't locate where on this diagram). There is also a 7.5A fuse that provides power to the fan relay (as well as other things).

The locations of these fuses and relays should be printed on the fusebox cover, or in the owners manual.

Hey thanks for the info-checked the 30A fuse by the battery and found it'd blown but fan still didn't operate when replaced so looks like a relay check tomorrow-it's the last thing left untested-typical eh...!
