I just swapped the throttle bodies over, if you do make sure you get the black spacer that fits between the throttle bodie and inlet manifold.
The black spacer gives a proven 1bhp (woopy dooo) but the throttle bodie gets rid of that flatspot between 3-3.5K rpm.

To fit the 1242 all you need is the engine, no loom or ecu!
Theres a few bits to cahnge over nothing serious and a spacer to be made for the exhaust, i'm sure Pete could help you out with what needs doing.

Dom,

Punto 60 engine drops straight in, just swap the oil pressure switch and crank sensor from the 1108, but keep the 1242 pulley as it has a vibe damper in it which you need. Exhaust needs a spacer (~10mm) or it won't clear the sump - but not too big or the lambda sensor will hit the bellhousing. Alternatively get a custom manifold and cat/decat made up.

Throttle body - watch out here as some Punto 60's have the 32mm body and some 30mm. The size can either be measured or read off the back - it's dot stamped on the flat face next to the fuel inlet pipe. I have ground the shaft down and recessed the screws on mine to get more air past, gives a definite improvement after 5000 revs.

Pete.
