I have sorted my dodgey tick over and wierd noise just by a simple service
1. Change sparkie plugs - Bosch Super 4 (Quad electrode)
2. Change Sparkie Plug leads (Bosch performance)
3. Oil (5w/40 Fully synthetic)
4. Fitted K&N (57i Induction)
DONE!! no nasty cam noises!!

Ive just got 15w50 for my cinq sporting, is that a good choice?

lol why brave?.. I've looked at my manual and 15w/40 is fine/Reccomended for the cinq.. but looking at the halfords reccomendation 15w/40 is for non-injection vehicles.. And 5w/40 is reccommended for high performance..

5w's thinner than 15w...it might seep from gaskets and that ilk. Im gonna try a 10w40 oil in mine to try and stop the cam rattling so much!

best choice is a 15w/40 semi sythentic, ignore what Halfrauds say. Stick to what is recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

Ive got 15w50 to put in, is that ok?

Magnatec 15w40 is my personal recommendation.

I was using 15w 40 to begin with but always now use flush and 10w 40 IMO it now reaches higher revs easier.
