Hi,

Are the Cinq trofeo parts available through fiat dealers (if there are any left).
Were they ever in the catalog?

I remember working at Renault ages ago where you could order all the racing parts through the normal catalog, even whole chassis with cage!

Simple answer is: No, you will not get them from a dealer.

There was a parts book, I've seen some on ebay before, but were not in english.

I don't think you will ever get any parts now, unless you bought a trofeo car with spares

wow, has anybody ever taken the trouble to scan this book, I read german and would love to read about the mods made!
Especially to the engine, I think it was 90bhp with a special ecu and a 10:1 compression ratio.
would that be doable on any 899, increasing the compression?

You need to be careful about what you read. There was more than one Trofeo series. The original was for 899 cars, but they changed to 1108 later on. The specification was set so that they would all be the same power, and not too expensive.

There was also a Group A car homologated for International use which had nearly 110bhp from 1108.

Cheers

I have a original 899/903 Trofeo from 1994. It has approx. 65 hp with special ecu and a 10.45 compression ratio.

I am sure you can get more than 90 hp out of this engine. Abarth used to do it on the 600 based cars.

But if you do, then it really wouldn't be a Trofeo, would it ?

Parts were available from Fiat dealers when they knew how to use the eper.

It is unlikely to get most of the parts now if any at all as the production of the Cinquecento seized 11 years ago, which means the manufacturer doesn't have to provide the parts anymore.
