Sadly the time has come to move on as we need something bigger/5-drs/safer etc so I'm posting details here of our car to see if anyone might be interested.

Cinq Sporting
1998 (R) in Broom Yellow, circa 42000 miles (genuine with MOTs etc), 2 private owners, MOT and tax to late February 2005.

I bought it around July 2002 from the garage I used to work at, had just been traded in by it's lady owner for a new Honda Jazz. It had then done 26224 miles and was needing a new clutch. I wanted something to see me through a lean spell while I re-trained (to get out of the motor trade!) and it's done all I've asked. Also, I'm no lunatic, but a sensible 33 year old so it has not been abused!!!

Service-wise it had been serviced annually by Fiat dealer when I bought it but I have not taken it there but had one of their technicians (a friend of mine) do what it's needed so no stamps in the book since I got it.

However, there are receipts for all parts it's had since I bought it including clutch kit (Fiat), centre and rear exhaust (Fiat), water pump (Fiat) and cambelt (Fiat). It's also just had two new Pirelli front tyres, rear are also Pirelli though getting down (maybe 3mm or so left?). It also had air filter, plugs and leads about a year ago and has had 2 oil & filter changes since I got it.

Bodywork has some small dings (all on the osr wing/arch for some reason!) and some indentations on the bonnet where some muppet has tried to push the bonnet down to close. I'll be getting a mate who works for Dent Magician to look at them so I'm fairly sure they'll be all but gone (he's very good!).

I may be a bit ambitious but hoping to see around 1500 pounds after looking at similar age/mileage ones on Exchange & Mart, Autotrader and local papers. I would take a bit less but to be honest I'd rather keep it than let someone nick it and I don't want it going to some complete lunatic who's going to wreck it.

I put it on Autotrader only yesterday at 1450. Bit soon to expect a response from that. Also put it on Pistonheads (which is free) a few days ago but that's probably not where people will be looking for one.

Well, I'm getting a bit desparate now to be honest. Still absolutely no interest so I'm dropping her to my minimum price, 1250 Pounds.

That really is the lowest I'll go, after that she goes to my Dad's place in Scotland and into storage until classic status beckons. I'm getting my new car 3 weeks on Thursday so ideally she will be gone by then.
