It's not that big a deal.
The left one: Unscrew the screws (either side of the lamp) after you've disconnected the plug.
The right one: Kind of the same deal but both the front bumper and radiator are in the way. You can wiggle it into place - it just takes a bit of patience. Also, be careful not to damage the radiator excessively.
You'll need to raise the car off the ground and set it securely so you are confident to crawl under it - this shouldn't be necessary but if the car drops while you've got a hand caught in the front bumper...
I must say that mine's a '99 SPI model which is likely to differ from your '01 model. Therefore I can't guarantee it's exactly the same procedure. If it's easier for you then I want a facelift bumper, lol.
