As i'm selling the Cinq, i would like to know what sort of price people are prepared to pay for it?

What sort of price should i be asking for? the latest additions to it was the black 14" alloys and a Novitec DTM exhaust system. I also have a 1242 engine in mint condition but have never got round to fitting it, the 1242 has had a timing belt and headgasket change and it's done approx 40k miles.

The Cinq currently has 82k on the clock, has had the timing belt done at 60k, Is P-Reg'd and is Broom Yellow

the list of mods include:

Brakes: Drilled & Grooved Discs (front)

Suspension: Spax adjustable dampers, Apex -30mm springs, OMP Strut-Brace

Wheels: 14" Team Dynamics SuperTouring in black, 195/45/R14 New Falken tyres

Engine mods: GSR F1i induction kit, Novitec 2.5" exhaust system with DTM tailpipes (sounds awesome)

Interior: A-Pillar Gauge pods with gauges, Push-Button Starter Switch(can't be started without the key), Abarth trimmed headrests, Momo gearknob, Mountney steering wheel with Momo Hornpush cover, yellow gauge surround with neon trim (as seen in my avatar)

Exterior: Single Wiper conversion with fast-wipe facility, Bonnet Lifter, Black coloured ECU, Abarth Decal Reg Plates

Security (my pride): Cobra alarm system with following features.. Central locking control, ultrasonic detection, hotwire detection, rolling code remotes (2), Total Closure relay which closes windows on activation of alarm.

ICE: Kenwood KDC-W7027 Headunit, Kenwood 4" fronts, RockfordFosgate 5-1/4" in the rear panels with sony tweeters flush-mounted in the armrest location, Sony Xplod 10" sub, MacAudio 400w Amp, 1-Farad PowerCap. Please note that the current headunit and sub/amp will be removed prior to sale unless i get an extra offer for this (region of approx £300 extra).

The Cinq comes with the all important Red key and 2 Blue keys.

It also has a Nokia Bluetooth Carkit installed which i can't really be arsed to swap to the new car. Simple to use and avoids hefty fines from the police.

I would also like to point out that the Cinq won 2nd place in the ClubCento Concourse at Lotherton Hall this year which was a big acheivement for me

So, Please help me, Any ideas on pricing?

EDIT< for those that have been asking about the 1242, it will only be for sale if the car buyer does not want it. The same applies to the Black Alloys.

I'd be willing to pay £2k for that car if i wanted it. But I'm not sure about a non-enthusiast. You won't get what you deserve for it

I am loving the security system, especially that total closure part!

I would agree with 2K, but by the looks of the amount of people who are having to lower the prices of their cinqs' to stupid figures- it doesn't look good.

i hope that there is someone who can see how much the car is worth and give you a figure close to the 2k mark

id happily pay 2k or just over for that, if a car like that is for sale next year (around april time) then it would be something that i will look at...
until then i will keep my 1108cc cinq but i want something with more power next year

it all looks good for me buying a sei sometime next year then, even if ill get nowt for me cinq,

seen one in the local paper - 51 plate red sei sport 13k on the clock £2600 - thought that was a bit of a bargain meself

Seems that the likes of me can only benefit from other missfortune, I've been a Mini enthusiast for 20 years but having a 25 mile commute across London every day I needed something with a drive train that is a little bit less fragile.
Just picked up a 96 broom yellow Cinq Sporting with 2 previous owners, FSH and 43k on the clock for £800. In the Mini circles 800 notes gets something with around 80k on the clock and bodywork that tetley teabags would be proud of.
