General rear seat removal?

i was wondering if i took the rear bench out would it make the car go a bit faster? or is it a bad idea

all i was thinkin is no one can use them any way so why not take them out, any one else taken em out? whats it look like underneath?

why not fold you're rear seat base forward,and you will see whats underneath

Yeah...not rocket science.

Theres a few bolts (I think 6 at most) that hold both the base and the back in.

Its minimal weight, so it wont make a huge difference unless yure on a dragstrip!! Not worth the effort unless its getting a rollcage!!

Back end spins out way too easily. trust me, i nearly bent my car into a ditch when i had the rear out

Taking the seat out actually increases the movement of the shell under cornering. Put a brace in if you decide to take the seats out and/or adjust the tyre pressures to compensate.

i removed the rear seat install and it made absolutely do difference on take off or power at all, but made the back end uneasy round corners so i put it back in that night.

I took mine out 4a few weeks while I was cleaning them. No differance of handling or speed. Yes it wud make it quicker, but it will not be noticable unless if you run 1/4miles and then it may be like around 0.07 of a second quicker.
