Are there any alternatives to Powerflex PU bushes available in the UK? A company in Poland just released a couple products for the Sei/Cinq - currently on offer are rear bushes and front/front bushes (front/rear and antiroll bar bushes soon). Price wise they seem quite interesting, compared to Powerflex. A complete set for the rear is about 26 pounds for the sportier compund and 22 for a compound comparable to the standard rubber pieces.

The prices are there - divide by about 4,8 to get price in Pounds.

The set at the bottom is a set of 4 bushes for the rear arm. Like I wrote - the rear front wishbone bushes should be available soon, for the moment only the front front wishbone bushes are available at about 5,40 and 4,80 each (depending on compound - Sport is the more expensive), so about 11 and 9 quid for both sides. I'd expect more or less the same for the rear front wishbone bushes and a little discount for a complete set, when it becomes available.

Interested? :) Maybe we can work smth out... let's wait for the others :)

Or if you have a lathe and a freezer, you can turn them up. ;) Mind you, if you don't mind a little nvh, proper roller bearings or a re-inforced PTFE or nylon might be preferable for ARB use.

I was going to machine some nylon ARB bushes not long back but never got around to it. the two inner ones need to be made in 2 parts.

If there is any flexure in the bushes then the turn into a corner is not uniform as the bushes are loaded up, and flex.

If you were track racing you would want the bushes solid and you might want the option of heavier or lighter bars, perhaps one at the rear as well...

If it is a road car you are only interested in mpg, or litres per Km

Even fitting powerflex style suspension bushes will make the car noiser then OEM, Ok for road legal track cars, but for normal shopping bag use?

OK, a complete set front (4pcs)/rear (4pcs) is now available, at about 54 pounds. ARB bushes still to come.

Also heard there is a second company that should soon have them available.
