(T) lowered it- now sounds like a jet plane!?!?!?

right i tooked my cinq down 60mm couple of weeks ago and it has devolped this jet plane engine sound coming from the rear left corner, if you turn left (so the waight comes off the wheel) the sound stops but as soon as you straghten up the sound comes back. help please.

the hub bearings gone. costs about £40 from fiat and they take about 10mins to fit heh!

I just had same trouble. It is the wheel bearing. Mine were £23 plus VAT from Andrew Pages if you have one of those near you. Unfortunately took mine to a garage to fit and they robbed me for fitting. I'd do it your self

Could it not be the tyre rubbing on something?

easy job to do wheel bearing, the hub comes off in one piece - £28.40 inc vat, about 30 mins a side, just done my girls

are the fronts as easy to do fordy? can i nip upto stoke and borrow some of urs tool? hehe

yer it was the hub i changed it last weekend, however, it didnt come off in one bit, more lots of bits with bearings everywhere, still sorted it.
