This is my 1st time on this forum, I have a 1998 Seicento 'S' 899cc, it will not start (the fuel pump will not run), I have checked the relay & it's O.K. if I put a earth to the purple & black wire on the fuel pump multi-plug it will cause the pump to run, this only ocurred after the battery went flat, I could really do with a wiring diagram if any of you has a pdf version it would be a great help (y)
Many thanks.

It's not the fuel cut-off & there is no immobiliser fitted, I have also tried the 'Red key' I really need a wiring diagram so I can trace the earths to the fuel pump etc.

I trimmed a lot of the crap out so reduce the size

N40 is the pump.

Not gonna dig it back out, but the important part's are:

B5 - MAXI fuse, found behind the battery, in the engine bay. Tis a big one! This also fuses all of the igintion circuits.

J10 - Fuel pump relay - which is energised by the ECU putting out 12v onthe line i think. other side of relay shorted to earth.

I50 is the fuel cut off switch

Should be able to trace it from that.

If you are shorting the pump, the fuse must be ok.....so its the relay, wiring or ecu (VERY UNLIKLY to be the ECU, but try runnign the connection direct to +12v to manaully activate the relay.

Thanks for your help, I traced the fault to the multi-plug in the left front foot-well, bad connection due to corrosion on contacts, cleaned & tightened contacts & now everything is hunky-dory!!
Thanks again for all your help.
