i was on my way home from wrexham goin along a dual carridgeway behind a dun up corsa probly 1.2 . both ovatakin loads of cars n then went to single carridgeway and then split up 2 dual carridgeway n i was behind him so dropped in2 2nd gear n ragged past the 3 lads that were in it n they just lookin in amazement n shock as we flew past em. i over took bout 4 cars n seen the corsa was catchin up a bit but then i dropped it bak down in 2 4th n the corsa had no chance lol

its got a twin dtm exhaust n i took tha k&n off bout 2months ago now. got a vibe blackbox 3 amp n vibe sr6x9s n jvc 6x9s n sony 10cm spkers n few bits inside sprayed red.

Today on the way to Whitby, was being pushed quite hard by some bloke in a Rover 75. Didn't want to do more than 70 or so on single carriageway roads and he was getting quite close. We all had to stop for someone turning right, roads were clear in front - so did emergency start 0-80 (in the black one) when he was gone. Took Roverdriver about 2 miles to catch back up - priceless :slayer:

Wouldn't it be rather mad to go down into 2nd if you are going that fast? It's bad enough changing down when u are going at 30

Spudgun, you going to the York Dragstrip on the 24th, by any chance?

trying to drop mine down into 3rd above 60 gives me nasty noises and a firm refusal to engage the gear, trying to select 2nd would send the gearbox out all over the road
