righto.
Near end of last summer I was given a complete rear beam with arms, I stripped it all down and put all fixtures and fittings into a box.
I have been painting the rear arms, and have started to build them back up today, fitting the brake backplates etc.
Now, the bumpstops were removed by myself, and today I cant find the bolt/nut that holds them to the arm, and I cant understand why the bumpstop has a nipple on its mounting base, where it fits to the arm - there is no hole in the arm to accept the nipple ?
I cant get eper on to take a look there
has anyone any idea how the bumpstops fit?
bumpstop with locating nipple:
rear arm, only hole is for bumpstop bolt:
excuse the poor focus, got a new camera and not got to grips with it!
Any ideas?? both arm and bumpstops WERE together prior to stripping - is there a fitting between arm and bumpstop? does the bolt go in from underneath the arm?
