Can anyone help me on this one??
Just had the head skimmed, but can't adjust the idle speed which is around 1500/1750rpm. The small adjustment screw at the rear of the carb is in a fixed position (by Fiat on assembly).
Looked through Haynes manual but that doesn't really help other than say I need to have a Fiat tool to set it and it ay be the potentiometer which needs changing??
Can anyone help me out?
Regards, NAMB

You shouldn't adjust that, the ecu sorts out the idle speed. I'd suggest you have an air leak somewhere, possibly on a breather hose. Could be you have the hoses on the throttle bodsy back in the wrong places - sounds daft but it makes a difference.

Hi fixitagaintomorrow,
I'll have a look to see if I have crossed these 2 pipes over...
Thanks for the tip,

Pete, Sorted. Many thanks for the top tip. I'll certainly recommend your forum to others with Fiat's. Kind regards, NAMB
