Just a few quick questions:

  • What's the recommended front/rear tyre pressures for a Cinquecento on the standard alloys and tyres?
  • What's the recommended engine oil?
  • What the hell is that noise coming from the rear-end? I don't think it's the exhaust rattling. It happens with really light movement so I don't think it's the bushes. Could it be an untethered handbrake cable slapping against the floor?
  • What's that 'scraping' noice coming from the offside front? Could the brake possibly be binding on? It seems to happen after a long period of braking. Do disc brakes tend to bind like that?

rear end noise likely to be suspension arm bushes, sometimes even the shocker bushes, also - check that there is nothing loose in the spare wheel well!!

front scraping noise, probably pads that are worn down, small amounts of light braking tend not to make much of a sound, however longer harder braking will, mega easy to replace.

28 or 30 psi on tyres think its 28 on 13''

I used 15W40 semi synth on mine and I could swear that the tyre pressures are higher than 28psi; I think it's either 30 or 32 psi but I honestly can't remember.

32 is definately the PSI for 14'' so yeah would go with 30 PSI for 13''

Cheers. I've just found the manual and it is 2bar.

I'll get some oil and give it a service next week.

Fuel filter is under the middle of the car somewhere, right?
A bit of a pain to get to without ramps.

the fuel filter is under the car in the middle, it would be easier if you had ramps, but i jack the car up and put them on axlestands and did the job.
