Hy, I'm new on this forum and I am from Romania. I have a Fiat Seicento Sporting Abarth :slayer: (the black & orange version) that needs its front shock absorbers changed  because they are making a strange noise and the rod of the absorber moves in all possible directions. The car has 138.000 km made and the suspension was never changed.

Now, I was wondering if the Seicento Sporting Abarth has different suspension compared to a standard Seicento?

From what I saw, the Sporting Abarth version has a more rigid and lower suspension... is this right?

The height of the body can be changed by the shock absorbers or depends just by the springs I am using... because if it is so, the problem is more simple (I wanna keep my current height setting... lower would be too much for my 14" wheels and for romanian "beautiful" streets)?
I am waiting for your advices on what shocks to choose for my Sei Sporting :).

PS: I wanna also to apologize :worship: for my English if I made mistakes. And if someone wants to see my car I can upload some pics.

Some pics then...

But please don't forget about my questions!

The above pictures were made after I bought the car and the number plates were the bulgarian ones... the car was first registered in Bulgaria because of the huge taxes here in Romania (for Euro 2 cars).
Now, I have payed the registration tax and the new romanian number plates are like in the picture below...

Its got the same suspension as a normal seicento sporting if thats what you mean yes. So fine for your car yes. Other models (s, sx, etc) have slightly higher suspension (20mm i think???)

As already said, ride height is set by springs not shocks.

Better than many of the british members, don't worry about it ;)

Ok, I found a guy here that imports suspensions from Apex and he told me that he can bring me only the full suspension kit (4 shocks & 4 springs) which is quite expensive... about 400 euro. Are they any producers that sells just the shocks for Seicento Sporting?

And if someone has an ideea... how much the shipping to Romania will cost?
