My daughters seicento has a hissing from the L/H footwell, it appears to be from the brake servo / booster. Ive done a test on the servo and it is working but sounds like it has a split in the diaphram.
Has anyone else had expereance of this and does anyone know where can i get a replacement. Are they expensive.

Get one from a scrappy, they are easy enough to replace.

i bet ones from a old punto and such would be the same?

Got similar problem ....

"split in the diaphram" - is that the pipe fro mthe servo to the inlet mani ?

(note my reservoir is currently empty and still need to be bleed the brakes).

You can relax.

The diaphragm is the thing inside the servo that makes it work.

Fill your reservoir, bleed it all, and I am sure it will go away.
