Please can someone help. Brought the Mrs a lovely sciento, no problem with the car. The problem is that the passenger side footwell has got a pond in it. Soaking wet. I don't know where the water is coming from. I've looked at some previous posts, but no clear answer. Does anyone have any solutions, pictures on how to solve this problem. Thanks

Does it have a sun roof?

Usual suspect:

rear light cluster rubber might have gone.
rear wheel arch might have rusted through
The most common one is the sun roof not sealing probably

as above but include window seals also

no one will know for sure a definitive answer until you check all these areas yourself, maybe use a hosepipe on all the seals and see if the water seeps through, you will get your source then

Apply talcuum powder in various places. You will see the trail of water through it.

one of us in the panda section had a similar sounding problem. Read through the above thread should help you out. MEP posted a video too.

Had same problem myself really bad flood both passenger and driver side, couldnt find source, stripped carpet, cleaned and oiled door rubbers and cleaned out drain area below windscreen had leaves in and hosed it clear. stopped it but I am none the wiser. Hope this helps
