Hi a couple of weeks ago my heater was only kicking out cold air and the fan was not kicking in at 90. Since then ive taken it to a garage more then once to try and sort the problem. So far i have changed the stat, rad, fan switch flushed and bled system and still every now and then the same thing happens but now with a added problem
when i come to a junction and put my foot on the clutch every now andthen the engine will die and also a lack of power as well. Could this now be a HG problem or somethng else

Could be HG problem (get a compression test done). )n 899s it may just be the water pump.

Is the fan not coming on? If not suspect knackered earth side to fan switch.

I'd say waterpump was your original problem.

And you now also have a failed headgasket as a result.

it may have been a water pump or an improperly bled system and yeah, you probably have a failed HG now.
