Technical temp gauge only half works

does anyone know what the reason for my temp gauge on my cinque
to hardly go up at all, where as before it was up in the middle,it now just
goes past the 50 mark, will it be the thermostat that has gone.

Could well be a stuck open thermostat, yep. Had this happen on a couple of cars.

yep, thermostat and fresh antifreeze. Haynes covers the job quite well.

Airlock in the system due to dodgy coolant change perhaps?

What kinda driving do you do? I'm mainly a or b roads @ 60-70mph and with the heating on hot the temp guage hardly goes over 70.

my temp gauge still doesnt work.. its had a new sender, gauge and wire from the gauge to sender.. its just not meant to be
