Hi,
I have just purchased an original remote central locking relay for my Seicento but I cannot locate the fitted unit to replace it.

The fitting instructions show a LHD car with the relay located under the dash to the right of the steering wheel
I have a RHD model so it should be to the left of the steering wheel but I cannot locate it
My car is a Y2000 sporting model

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Rob

Hi,

I fitted a remote central locking relay a couple of months back and it's a bit fiddly to get to.

It's tucked up behind the lower right hand side of the centre console, roughly at the same level as the stereo mounting (wee red dot in the picture).

You need to reach up from under the dash and have a bit of a grope for it - I found it best to stick my head under the dash with a wee torch in my mouth so I could see where it it.

Another tip - make sure you note the way the pins were lined up on the original one, as it's a fiddle to try and line the remote one up once you've located the relay.

Hope that helps

Thanks a lot guys for your replys
I eventually found the relay on the passenger side not the drivers side (mabe because it is a sporting it is on the other side) I took out the heater control unit and then spotted it attached to the dash framework and have now replaced it

Thanks again

Rob
