Titch (a Cinq' Sporting 1.1 ) started losing power today on my way to work.
He idles more or less okay (a bit lumpy but stays at around 800 rpm) but when I accellerate, there's not much power but a bit of vibration (like one or more cylinders are out).
Last time I had a problem like this was on a 1242cc Punto. It turned out that one of the coils was knacked. I need the car running so I've bought a new coil without testing it any more than by pulling the HT lead off no4 cylinder (the engine then stalled)
Apart from a duff plug, or dodgy HT lead etc. which I may discover if the coil doesn't fix the problem, what else can I look at?
