orite iv had a litle trouble with my standard cinq sporting in the last few days. i 1st noticed it wen i started the car 1 day after work and it wouldnt idle, i hav to rev it slightly 2 keep it running, this problem disapears after about 10 minuits of running. the second problem is that wen im driving and i tek it past 4500 revs the car wont go any faster, it feels like a starvation of fuel or sumthin.has any1 else had this problem ir know wat could b causing it? many thanks "chris".

Firstly check the plugs out and also the HT leads, possibly renew them if they've not been changed in a while & also check the vac lines for blockages. If that throws up nothing try a compression test.
I think I understand the OP, these foreign language translator programmes do mangle the english a bit.
Check the manifold temp sensor.

@marron69 - do you have any warning lights com on the dash. DOes the injector light come on when you turn the key in the ignition?

oh sorry chaps, i failed to notice you were all properly spoken on here. no sir im not dislexic i just prosumed you would understand what I meant, after all they are only abbreviated words. anyway no the injector light does not come on apart from the few seconds wen i turn on the ignition. sorry for any txt speak earlier i will try my best not to do it anymore, its just habbits of an 18 year old. thanks for all your help "chris"
