i dont know where its going tho:( i have no leaks or anything.

i have no problems with overheating as the cars fan kicks in all the time when it should. i just dont know whats up with her :(

what does it sound like?

Thanks

Either you have an airlock that is working its way around to the radiator, you have a leak and it is so small so you arent seeing it, you have a leak and the coolant is vaporising off the engine or it is going out of the exhaust (possible head gasket failure), does the car exhaust seem to steam excessively?

my one was a bad thermostat hot water was staying in the engine never being allowed to get to the radiator for cooling. so the fan kicks in all the time when it should so ok there.

I had a major leak, I could not spot it with the engine running, and TBH i didn't fancy sticking my head around the engine bay with it running, so I used a water pressure test kit. Proper SP one is great, but if you get an old water bottle cap, drill hole in top, glue a car tyre valve in it with sealer, then fit it and pump up the water system, not much, only about 15psi from memory. The you can look all around at leasure with no scalding hot jets.

I did this and found a massive hole in my rad, yet I couldn't see it when just the engine was running.

well i allways get some white smoke out the back of the exhaust... and well she lost 2 and a bit litres of coolant in 2 days.. i have no power loss and the heaters work amazing untill the waters gone thats when i know it needs topping up as they go cold..

hellppppp

Mine was loosing a bit, I suspected HG, but when I was suddenly loosing the same amount as you I then thought a leak. Car was running fine too. But as i said before, leaks are not easy to spot with the engine running at idle, you really need to pressure test it. If you can't get one, make one.

I had similar symptoms to this with my old Sei' except I got massive power loss much above 4000rpm. Get the head & cooling circit pressure tested.
