my wifes seicento just brokedown today , no lights came on just stopped , the engine will try to turn but will not start, the aa came to the and said it was the fuel cut off switch got the car going and my wife got the car home, since then the car would not start from the house turn the ignition on and the code light flashes but the sparkplug light does not even come on that is when it wont start , i mucked around with the cut off switch and the ecu block connector and all the lights on the dash came on and car started this is an itermitant fault any help would be great i am going to fiat to buy a new cut off switch and start from there

I think it's unlikely to be the cut off switch.

Clean up all the earth leads and battery terminals. Physically undo them, scratch them up. coat with vaseline, tighten them up.

Other likely cause is the TDC sensor or the wiring to it.

Hi fingers , can you tell me what a TDC sensor is excuse me for not being sensor minded

Its the sensor mounted on the oil pump bracket pointing at the toothed wheel on the end of the crank.
