the headlight's pushed in a bit too, have you repaired it or bought it like that? what year is it? the rest of the bits look like a mk2, the badge, indicator etc, but its got a very badly paited mk1 bumper. the gap on the bottom pics also not even, it tapers off the the left.

i,ve been sent the pics, the car is a 1999. it has been in an acident (cat C ) but supposedly repaired. its got years mot and is cheap, my daughter wants one as first car so dont mind a few knocks as she is bound to bend it knowing her

depending on how much it is, I'd be tempted to look elsewhere, they've not done a great jod of repairig the bits you can see, chances are they've not even bothered with the bits you can't see, suspension, cross members inner wings, etc etc etc. seicentos are pritty cheap now anyway, have a look on ebay and see what you could pick u for the same money they want for this one.

not really, if its not an abarth 500-800 depending on condition's the normal price I think, a cat c has to be worth less, a lot less due to the horrific repair job they've done, I'd probably offer 250, maybe 300 if the rest of the car is in great condition. if it is only a badly fitted and painted bumper I may go to 400 BUT thats only if there is NO damage to the inner panels. try and get a good look at whats been done. after all, when you come to sell it, it will still be a cat c and less desirable than the other seicentos out there so you'll have to sell it cheap too.

front end dont look straight mate, the right headlight makes me wonder and the gaps are well out on the bonnet.

dont buy it mate you will regret it, ive straightened loads of cars and to be honest it just doesnt look right.

you will get a much better deal elsewhere (y)

just read the ad! its a cat c mate! the more i look at the pic the more it looks like the front panel is pushed in.

ive added a picture of my car after i fitted a new front panel and radiator and bumper, i also repaired a crease on the bonnet and this is what a car should look like after it is repaired, if it doesnt then i wouldnt touch it.

Bonnet is wrong, lights are wrong, bumper is wrong, the wings near the top of the arch look odd to me as well. So you'd need a new front panel, probably work on the inner wings to sort them out & I'd put money on the chassis being crabbed to. Not even worth considering.

i pick my 1998 abarth up for only £480, with 5 mot, and in much better condition, so i whouldn't even pay £250 for it, when it is a CAT C, no point for HPI check, as you already know it is CAT C, it look like, that person, have bought a 2nd hand black bumper, and paint it and not cover properly, and got new shape side ind light and may be the bonnet as well, that tell why it got the new fiat B, the head light it self look ok and line up with the bonnet, But when it is a CAT C, it will need VIC check, if you really think you can get very cheap(below £250), make sure it got the VIC proof paper.
if you want to sell on, in the later day, you must tell the buyer, it is a CAT C, as this is by law buyer must know about it, and it will said on the logo book.

I have sen the pictures of this car on ebay and I asked the guy if he was going to finfsh the car or sell it as it is and I awaite his reply

IF he has the new V5, that is a VIC approved .. and it will say the car has been a accident and repaired.

Once a car is Cat C, you will lose the V5, only when u pass the VIC then u get ur V5 back

if the car own by the same person, and damage claimed by him, and listed CAT C, he can keep the old log book, or he bought back from he own insure company, he will always have the log book, only loss it when take it away, as mean you sold the car to insure company.
it is really depand on what happen, at the time, as i have keep my old car from my insure company, after been damage and claimed, they let me keep it. i know, it got list CAT C, and i have drive it for another 2 years, never have problem to mot, but if i repair it, and sell on, no one will know(don't worry i never did, i have give it away), only HPI check will find out.
