99% certain I have a leak on my g/f's Sei Sporting and as funds are tight to say the least, went out and bought a bottle of Radweld as a temporary fix. Only thing is I can't figure out the easiest way to get the stuff into the rad.

Is it as simple as pouring it into the expansion tank or is that a dangerous thing to do ? The rad is so tightly stuck behind the bumper, I can't see how else to get it in there.

Any ideas ? (other than get a new rad, which I will do when funds allow)

Cheers,

Rob.

the expansion tank just drains straight into the rad as far as i'm aware.

if you dont want to use that, the bleed valve that comes up thru the drivers side inner wing leads straight into the rad.

AUP!! I had a leak on my sei sporting just last week!! and i used Rad Weld, get the water warm by running the engine for a few mins, then put the Rad Weld in the expantion tank, run the engine for a few more mins (reving it a bit helps get the water moving) and its all done! simple it really is that easy!!
