hi all,

i brought a set of alloys from a member from ff a couple of months ago, and have finally got around to refurbing them, here are some pictures.

after a rub down

finished

i'll put them on the car at some point during the week and take a picture, + all views/comments welcome.

Cheers Josh

agh right fair enough
well i got them second hand, of which theyre was 3 out the 4 centre caps, of which there was one complete one. and so im going to leave them off instead of replacing them to prevent them being stolen ect :)

Josh

what make are the ally's and what size ?

tsw's i think  and they are ALL 175's/60's/14's (although some may look smaller as some are pumped up and some are not as i let them down to protect the tyres, first time round) lol

Cheers Josh

right put one on my sisters cinq tonight to see how they look (hers is silver, and mines blue but hey) and they seem alright :D (i also got 2 people to sit in back to see how they would look when i lower it, as well as to see it they will scrub or not)

Cheers Josh

Yes i can say without a shadow of doubt that your wheels will look better on a silver car.
I hope this helps.

haha shes not keeping them :D (unless she pays me for them ;)) i'll put them on my car when i get order/recieve my new wheel bolts and take a pic to show you all.

Cheers Josh

thats a poor guide, you will never know in all honesty if it will look like that as it is depending on your choice of spring and some cars settle differently to others

right thats on sisters car propley with the correct wheel bolts and spacers! Its amazing how much of a difference they make to the handling and stopping power(y)

Cheers, Josh

Josh, (maybe time somone gave you some form of positive feedback eh:p)Looking pretty good Buddy, just need to clean up/paint your rear hubs, keep your new wheel bolts clean and all should be well.
I know not everyones a fan of rattle-canning your own wheels, but its a good effective budget mod at times. Hope you get the old girl running again soon(y)
