Hi everyone

Im out in the yard (yes i am aware it is dark) trying to take the alternator out.

Got the bolts off, but the is one, almost out but is now hitting the f'in engine mount.

Do i have to drop that side of the engine for it or is there a better way.
cheers(y)

If this happens You need to push the engine a few cm away from the wing, you don't need to completely remove the mount however there's more than enough thread on the bolt & two studs to give you the clearence you need.

Was a 1.1.
Just kept fiddling until i got it out... messed about with engine mount, lifted it with a jack and dropped a few times, just to get those few cruicial mm that i needed...
Cheers
