I have a cinq SX 900cc.
is it a common problem that the cat rattles cos mine is and they r well expensive from wat i hav heard so i don't want to replace it unless i have to 2 pass my MOT

There may still be enough of the cat working to pass the MOT.
Hopefully there's not enough loose bits to plug it up.

Take it for an enthusiastic quick drive immediately before the test, to get it nice and hot and blown clear of carp.

It may just be the heatshield rattling - they are made from a particularly low grade of italian metal replacement which rots and falls off! Mine dropped off last year

He's rite mine made that crappy rattle sound took it 2 the exhaust place and they welded the heatshield back on been fine 4 bout 10 months now.
