Hi folks,

The handbook says there is a main fuse on my 1995 cinq 900, I can not find it, my local fiat garage cant find it on their info......... does it exist??

I have no power to anything, the battery is good, I have cheched earths and added more, not even the curtusy light works!!!

What the hell is going on?

This all started after an engine change, it was fine before, now it is not. I am using the same electrics other than alternator so there is nothing to stop it!!!

I beleive the main ecu fuse is in the same place as the sporting: at the back of the engine bay next to the ECU under a plastic cover. Not a 100% on that though, sorry

If my memory serves me.......

There is a plastic box, in there are 2 fuses and 2 relays.......... is this the same as a sporting??

I suppose there may be a main relay stuck??

just yank em all out and replace them!lol that's how i solved my problem. changed everything in the car

Thing is, at least then you'll know you have new relays/fuses in there

Oh yeah, it is a 1995 car so no imobilisor........ cant be that then!

Can you guys tell me which relays are for wot?? I am having problems with my hazard lights not working, I have checked the fuse, which is fine, and now think its most probably the relay, where is the relay for this?

Also the stereo doesn't power and rear water jet doesn't work. This could possibley be on the same relay, not sure.

theres a main fuse near/on the battery on a cinq its in a plastic cover, it dont look like a fuse looks like flat metal with square plastic bit in middle, live from battery is conected to one end

Is this a connector like object?? I can only see that on the live side.

Will go and search some more.

Cinq electric traumas re: main fuse

Further to my last post:

I have traced the power as far as I can, there is power at the altinator, power at the starter motor, power at the 2 relays near the ECU but no power what so ever in the cockpit, nothing at the ignition switch fuse box or the 3 connectors on the left hand side.

Any ideas??

I kinda had this type of problem with my cinq sx about 2 weeks ago as this car nearly pulled out in front of me so i pressed my horn and noticed it didnt work so pulled up shortly after to find neither did my interior light, fag lighter, stereo or indicators on closer inspection i found a one pence coin in the end of the fag lighter took that out and checked my fuse box as i thought the coin may have shorted one of em out and the only blown fuse was the hazard warning light one replaced this and evrything worked

I have checked all interior fuses, all working.

I had a ood chat with a fiat garage yesterday, apparantly there are 2 giant fuses, a 30A and a 50A, these are the protection for everything before the fuse box! They can be below the battery on the nearside wing or behind the fuse box or where ever fiat put themthat week!! I will search tonight, if anyone has found these before please let me know!!!

Hello, my name is Mel and I have Cinquecento 900ie Base year 1994, is anybody located where are these 2 giant main fuses??

Please help me, I have the same problem, no power to anything. No change was to the engine just the alternator was changed. Where is the fault?

Don't know if these are any use... picture from Panda manual and one from a manual covering a few Fiat models including Cinquecento.... although I can't see anything in my Cinquecento manual.
