General from analog dashboard to digital dashboard

Hello,

does anybody know if it is possible to change the analog dashboard/cockpit to an digital dashboard and so what to change?

Most digital dashes come with the appropriate sensors, so decide which one you want and the supplier should be able to give you all you need.

someone tried and gave up with little success, i dont think it made it even fitted to car.

I was thinking that the op was going to put a bespoke dash in rather than one from another car.

If you wanted to make the car 'uber light (for say race or offroad use) I would fit a motorcycle speedo like the acewell jobbie I have on my bike!
comes with all warning lights. backlit screen. loads of trip meters. avrage speed/rpm. max speed/rpm... fuel gauge, oil and water temp gauges.
And you can set it to flash at rpm for gear change or over rev.

heres a piccy of it on my bike.

ive got one of them in my shed but without the lights on the side of the unit.
i was thinking about cutting the clocks down and mount the lcd at the top and keep the car lights at the bottom. but recess the lcd into the clear plastic bit if you no what i mean lol. ill have a go soon.

search on here for the thread, the person gave up though in the end, it isnt as easy as you might think
