w reg Seicento abarth so iam gonna cut it up and fit a bike engine, iam just after some ideas. adam

will be expensive- talking thousands if not will bleed savings dry

Good luck.....but there will be many sceptics. We get a lot of 'dreamers' in this section regarding engine conversions that promise something and never deliver nor hear from again, please dont be another one to go on the dreamer scrapheap.

Keep us informed

ive already got a cbr 1000 engine ive got a vid somewhere when i tested it at work lol.

soz should of said iam a fabricator / welder so it shoudnt be no prob to get it in. its just if it will fit in the front with the chain diff. ive made a chain diff with a audi diff but it seems a big unit so i dont no if i could get it to all fit in.

Don't forget, you'll need some sort of transfer box to get a reverse gear. GL with the project :)

like i said, you any good with a welder?

With access to (and the ability to use) MIG and TIG, tube bender, tubing notcher, casting equipment, pattern making, lathe and mill, gear cutting equipment and about 2 years free time, it'd be a peice of ****! ;)

Otherwise, I'm inclined to think that a CBR engine belongs in a bike!

Thats alright then as a good spaceframe/cage will be needed to be made if your putting the engine at the back as half the floor will be needed to be chopped out

i was gonna try and get it in the front if i can. but if not in the back but it will be a lot more work.

Maybe you could try contacting these guys - I think this is a bit more extreme than what you're going after, but worth a try anyway:
