As subject...the clip holding the hose to the bottom of the radiator seems to be from another planet! It does not have a screw, nor 'bend over' clips, that will allow me to loosen it. It does have a plastic covered spring thing on the opposite side of where I would expect the screw to be (iyswim) and, to make matters worse, the area where I expect the screw to be is on the valance side, so I can not even see if it can be forced and replaced.

Any thoughts/help appreciated.

Yeah it can be forced off.

Rip the plastic bit off with some good pliers, then yu can twist and distort the clip...Replace it with a standard jubilee clip!

Dear arseofbox,

Brute strength and ignorance (Apparently this was an original. factory-fit 'one-use' clip)... + pliers & side-cutters did the job [}:)]

Many thanks

Nice work. The BF+I Approach helps greatly with those clips!
