Every time I change gear my gearbox decides that it likes the gear it's in and it doesn't want to go into the new gear. This happens when I am changing up and down and it is becoming more frequent and it's also getting harder to get the gear engaged.

Ideas on what the problem could be anyone please?

You may benefit from having the clutch cable adjusted, it should rest around 1/2" below the level of the brake pedal.

Take it just a normal garage will do that for me then?

I need to take it in soon anyway because the heat shield above the manifold has cracked slightly so i need that seeing to too
