Guys,

I have just bought my Cinq sporting as a second car to get to work in (80 miles a day!!) so...I enjoy the fuel economy. What I dont enjoy is the 50BHP (Especially when my "Other" car is a 500 BHP Skyline GT-R!!!!!!). So.....I thought about fitting a "Dry" nitrous kit to the cinq, to give me another 25-30BHP at the flick of a switch.

So....have any of you guys done this to your Cinq's?? The first problem that strikes me ius how the hell do I fit the bottle??? The bottle is supposed to face forward in the car but the boos isnt long enough to fit it in....how have you guys done it??

The next problem is the actual type of kit to go for. I know that "Dry" systems are not as good as "Wet" systems if you wanna run silly BHP but as I want to run 25-30BHP max additional BHP, I figure a dry system will be OK.....what do you all think??

Also.....where have you guys fitted the nozzle to pump the nitrous into the car.....on the throttle body "Plenum" or simple into your induction kits??

Lastly.....can anyone reccomend a make/brand to go for and.....DOES ANYONE WANNA SELL ME A SYSTEM FOR THE RIGHT CASH????

HELP?????????????????

Regards

speak to brickfoot, he was running a NOS setup on his cinq sporting. i know he used small bottles, which may have been under the seats if i remeber correctly.

afaik his system was a dry setup and it injected into the induction kit..kinda... just on top of the throttle body.

not much help.. but it has been done and there are people who'd be able to help more :)

Hi there!

where to start:p

Dry system is ok for the power you want as the ecu injects the extra fuel required after seeing the extra oxygen at the lambda and thus compensates for this.

My setup was a dry kit (much simpler) and the nitrous nozzle was mounted on the throttle body dome (as supplied with a Gsr induction kit) to spray into the throttle body itself for maximum acheivement. The bottles i used on my setup were a 10oz and a 5lb. the 10oz one was ideal for hiding out of sight and hid behind the passenger seat when in use. The 5lb bottle sat in the same location but at an angle as reqiured.

If you are using a bottle bigger than 5lb's then you are going to need to mount it in the passenger footwell to get the right angle for use.

Hope that answers the questions, any futher, just ask:)

I have just bought a "1 Shot" kit off Ebay. You simply pipe the kit into your airfilter and hold the controller in your hand. It gives you a supposed 50-shot off each "Bulb" of N20. Should be fun and I will let you guys know how it goes. It cost £30 and the bulbs are availiable in this country for £15/20 bulbs!!! They are used to make Ice Cream of all things!!!!

Cheers

the bulbs do work! they are at silly pressure and the N2O is liquid in them but they dont last very well,

i love novas but its time for a change
